"I look forward to staying connected with the game and the fans every week on SIRIUS NFL Radio," said Madden. "There's not a better channel for listeners who want to stay on top of everything happening around the league and I'm excited for another season on the air." As a TV commentator, Madden served as the lead NFL analyst for all four major broadcast networks - CBS, FOX, ABC and NBC, where he spent the last three seasons calling games for Sunday Night Football. His final broadcast was Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa in February. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences honored Madden with 16 EmmyŤ Awards for Outstanding Sports Analyst/Personality and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006. Prior to his career on television, Madden was head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 1969 through 1978, where he compiled a 103-32-7 record and led the team to victory in Super Bowl XI.
