Radio World: The Digital Millennium Is 10 Years Old.

KGO, San Francisco’s big announcement? They’re going solar. So it had nothing to do with an FM signal (sorry, conspiracy-theorists and domain-probers). Instead, “KGO Newstalk AM 810 becomes the first major commercial broadcast media outlet in California to reach its listeners by harnessing the power of the sun and reducing its use of the power grid.”

Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Michael Klein has been reporting that Danny Bonaduce will be returning home to Philadelphia for mornings at Rock WYSP. Now FMQB hears that an official announcement of Bonaduce joining 'YSP could be on the way this coming Monday morning. Bonaduce currently does a one-hour show at KLSX/Los Angeles.

Letters: The Sound 100.3 (Oct 30, 2008)

From MGD 4Ever: Okay, I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually like 100.3 The Sound out of LA. I like the fact that their presentation is music-intensive, and that they are not nearly as whimpy and fluffy as KPRI. I think it is a really nice blend of old and new stuff. I just wish I could get it in the car South of the 52.

DFSX Goes All Halloween! (Oct 28, 2008)

Why can't KYXY HD2 do radio right? It's too f--king early for Christmas music, geez!

Want the music of THIS holiday season, tune in to DFSX for an All Halloween music extravaganza featuring spooky tunes and weird melodies every day through November 1st.

Someday, I'll get paid to program an HD2 channel with music people really want to buy an HD Radio for. You can find better Christmas radio stations on the net than what you could settle for from a commercial radio station that focuses only on love songs.
