Halloran's Love Ride (Oct 26, 2008)

i am looking for all motorbike riders to join me for the 25th annual love ride.

it's on sunday, october 26th.

love ride is 20,000 of your bike-riding friends cruising from glendale to the pomona fairplex for a good cause, to benefit the muscular dystrophy association.

i am inviting 10 bike-riding fm94/9 insiders to go on the love ride with me.

we'll start at san diego harley davidson the day before on the 25th for a kick-off bbq.

after the bbq... we'll all ride up to glendale together.

i'm gonna get us hotel rooms up near harley davidson of glendale (i will not be tucking any of you in or getting you one last drink of water, so don't ask.) then we'll join the masses on sunday morning and partake in the awesome experience that is the "love ride".

we will get up super early and rock the morning concert in glendale...(last time i was there it was "nelson" ) whoo hoo..this time it's the georgia satellites! thank the lords of rock!

but wait, there's MORE....drum roll..... at the fairplex, dave grohl's band (the fighters of foo) and zz top (sharp dressed men looking for some tush) will be performing a post ride concert. the foos hit the stage at 30 minutes after noon! yes NOON! we don't mess around when it comes to a nooner.

head's up, this is the first time in 25 years that the organizers have gotten away from solely "classic rock bands," so i think it's worthy of your attention.

i will be pulling as many favors as possible to get dave to make fun of your bike, so be prepared with a camera, but no guarantee.

as i mentioned before, it's a benefit ride so please encourage your friends to participate as well.

they can even come to the kick-off bbq and ride with us up to l.a.----
