Pirate on 88.9 Update (September 20, 2008)Yesterday, the frequency was apparently being used for announcing the Bayfair Powerboat Races at Mission Bay. It was not known whether the organization had legally obtained the right to broadcast on 88.9 MHz at a high wattage power, high enough to reach Serra Mesa and Claremont Mesa.Today is Talk Like a Pirate Day (September 19, 2008)Yarr!
