Is another pirate involved in this trickery. Ken Leighton isn't going to like this. You go, Ugly Bob! It interferes with the reception of KDB classical music on 93.7 from Santa Barbara. On the East County side, KCLB 93.7 from Coachella can sometimes overtake Pirate.Pride Radio has moved to another HD2 channel. Catch the Pride on KMYI 94.1 HD2. A new channel is playing on KHTS 93.3 HD2. It's called "The Hot Spot." Amy, which was on 94.1 HD2, is gone. Friday marked the 25th anniversary of the opening of Rubio's Fish Tacos. Thanks to this restaurant, San Diego will be forever linked to the dish of a fish taco. Friday also marked the 10th anniversary that San Diego hosted the Uper-S, Owl-B game between the Denver Broncos and the Green Bay Packers. It was John Elway's horse team that beat the Brett Favre team.

The worst Mariah Carey impression ever was heard on Wednesday night's American Idol tryouts special featuring San Diego as the locale from July 2007. Simon Cowell comments, "What the hell was that?!?" Those bad singers are really funny. 3. The sports radio stations can't find anything else to talk about outside of the Chargers not advancing to that big game in Phoenix one week from Sunday. Enough already. This is why ratings continue to remain low for sports talk. They stick with one subject far too long. 2. Pride Radio moves from 93.3 HD2 to 94.1 HD2. My reception of 94.1 HD2 is more spotty than 93.3 due to the fact that 93.3's transmitter is closer to my house. 1. The lineup for the Coachella Music Festival from April 25-27 is announced. My birthday falls right in the middle date! Just missed: The Academy Awards nominated a free e-mail account and Internet access company for reasons beyond me. Juno. Or is Juno some kind of movie? The FCC has approved Bain Capital and Thomas H. Lee Partners' proposed $19.5 billion buyout of Clear Channel. The unanimous ruling came with the approval of Democrats Jonathan Adelstein and Michael Copps, who while voting in favor of allowing the transaction, expressed concerns about the role of private equity firms and allegations of "anticompetitive sales practices" in some markets.
