Leykis Returns to San Diego Live (on Jun 15, 2007)

Why? Leykis, America's favorite radio a--hole, is coming back to San Diego this June 15th!

CBS Radio-owned 103.7 Free FM, one of the lowest rated stations in San Diego, will be visited by CBS Radio host Tom Leykis to do his live broadcast from Canes on Mission Beach. On June 14, the day before, expect Tom to originate his syndicated radio show from the studios of 103.7 like he usually does when he visits cities for business, and in his case, pleasure. This will be his third appearrance in San Diego.

Leykis doesn't just do a live broadcast on location, he puts on a show. He takes live callers as part of the Friday feature called "Wide Open Telephones" and the audience is there to cheer or boo the caller. A few callers who called in last time when Tom was in Downtown got chants of "Pussy" by the men when the caller totally wimped out. Think of the Meow Mix commercial ad from the 70s when you hear calls like that.

Do you like boobs a lot? You won't hear boobs like Michael Savage on Tom's show, but you will see some boobs. As always, Leykis is looking for 9's and 10's (generic females only, sorry, no transwomen pre-ops, not my rule, not even those who look like Alyssa Milano) who want to meet him backstage and avoid the long line. Fridays from April to October is Flash Fridays, and it's the time when men put on their headlights in broad daylight while the broads flash their assets to them as a reward for listening to his show.

CBS Radio needs more than Leykis to prop up the ratings for 103.7. The station badly needs hosts who are engaging, fun, informative, local, knowledgable, and who can not only get the men to listen, but also the women who would like to spar with the host when he says stuff that offend them such as the truth.
