San Diego/Tijuana Becomes Duo Time Zone Metro (Mar 9, 2007)From March 11-31, San Diegans and Tijuanian's will find out what's it like to live in a metropolis split by two time zones.Sunday, when Daylight Saving Time begins in the USA, but not in Mexico, San Diego will be one hour ahead of Tijuana, which will stay on Standard Time until early April 1st. Clocks will really be screwed up as you travel from San Diego to Tijuana as people will have to change their clocks back if going south or forth if going north. So, in honor of the confusion, if catch the following TV shows David Tanny watches: The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, and American Dad Sundays at 8pm San Diego time, 7pm Tijuana time, on Fox 6. Late Show with David Letterman, weeknights at 11:35pm San Diego time, 10:35pm Tijuana time, on CBS 8. Padres baseball: times vary, but catch most of them at 1pm San Diego time, NOON Tijuana time, on XX Sports 1090/105.7. Reruns of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch: weekdays at 4pm San Diego time, 3pm Tijuana time, on ABC Family. South Park, Wednesdays at 10pm San Diego time, 9pm Tijuana time, on Comedy Central. Tom Leykis, weekdays at 3pm San Diego time, 2pm Tijuana time, on 103.7 Free-FM. Many morning TV and radio drive time shows will be starting at 4am Tijuana time, which translates into 5pm San Diego time.
