Talkers Top 250 (Feb 23, 2007)

Talkers magazine has ranked the top 250 Most Important Radio Talk Show Hosts in America, a popular annual feature that includes the Heavy Hundred talkers.

The magazine considered more than 5,000 radio talk show hosts across the country ranging from national icons to those laboring in relative obscurity.

The top 10 are ranked in this order: Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Ed Schultz, Opie & Anthony, Laura Ingraham, Mike Gallagher, Neal Boortz, and Glenn Beck.

Coming in from 11-20 are Mancow, Howard Stern, Randi Rhodes, Dom Imus, Bill O'Reilly, Alam Colmes, Bill Handel, Jim Bohannon, Jim Rome, and Mark Levin.

Some notable (IMHO) talk show hosts in the rest of the top 100 include Kim Komando at #24, Michael Medved at #29, Tom Leykis at #33, John & Ken at #34, Bob & Sheri at #45, Roger Hedgecock at #48, Bob & Tom at #60, Steve Dahl at #71, and John & Jeff at #100.

Some notable talk show hosts in the 101-250 range include Bubba the Love Sponge, Gary Burbank, Matt Drudge, Mark Larson, Michael Reagan, Rick Roberts, Jay Thomas, and Adam Carolla
