Says Dave about this week's show, "Named after the patron saint of astronomers and founded by Bart Columbus (Chris' brother), the Dominican Republic was the first European settlement in the New World world (after the pesky Taino Indians were dispensed with, that is). These days it's a fairly stable democracy and tourism hub, as well as the homeland of Sammy Sosa, Pedro Martinez and Albert Pujols. I'm just curious about it because my friend George lives there, and because I giggle when I say the name `Pujols.'"
