Don't blink, you might miss one of the dozens of excellent bands coming throough San Diego.  The past month we have had The Cult, Dashboard Confessional and Panic! At the Disco at X-Fest XII, two Radiohead shows, Pearl Jam, Sonic Youth, and Wolfmother just to name a handful, and it's only getting more interesting in the weeks to come.

THEN there's 91X 4 O'clock Fridays at the Del Mar Racetrack.  FREE 91X concerts with track admission every Friday after the last race, kicking off with the Flaming Lips on July 21!  We're also bringing you the Violent Femmes, Pinback, Alice in Chains, and special Saturday infield concerts with Billy Idol on August 12 and Jimmy Eat World on August 26.  Full line-up and details HERE.

Speaking of FREE concerts, to thank 91X for being the first radio station in the country to play their song "Earthquakes and Sharks," and YOU for making it the most requested song on the station, Brandtson are taking a detour from their tour to play a FREE all-ages 91X concert at the Wave House in Mission Beach this Sunday (July 16)!  Yes, that's a run-on sentence, but dammit we're excited.  Kallao will broadcast live from the Wave House starting at Noon, Brandtson hits the stage at 1:00.  Join us, will you?

I'm not done... 91X also welcomes Massive Attack to S.D.S.U. Open Air Theatre on September 20.  Tickets on-sale to the public this Friday, but if you can't wait, hit up the Internet pre-sale happening now at Ticketmaster.com.  The secret password is BUTTERFLY, pre-sale ends Thursday (July 13) at 10:00 P.M.
