A week before the 60th annual Tony Awards take place at Radio City Music Hall, WGBB will air a live special devoted to the Tonys and the Broadway season as a whole.

Dave Lefkowitz, host of WGBB's Dave's Gone By, will again host the program, featuring:

* Call-ins and pre-recorded predictions from other theater veterans
* Live phone calls from listeners making their own predictions
* Showtunes from this year's Tony-nominated musicals and Tony winners from years past
* Theater questions, quizzes and ticket giveaways

WGBB program director Tom Ross says, "Combine the excitement of live theater with the intimacy of radio, and you have a perfect way to celebrate a season on Broadway. WGBB is proud to offer our listeners this fun, educational program for the second straight year."

Dave Lefkowitz is enjoying his third year as host of Dave's Gone By, a mix of talk, music and comedy (Sun, 11pm, davesgoneby.com). He's editor-in-chief and co-publisher of Performing Arts Insider theater magazine (performingartsinsider.com) and founder of the theater website, TotalTheater.com. He writes a monthly theater column for The Improper, and his reviews appear in the Long Island Press and New York Theater News.

WGBB, the oldest radio station on Long Island and one of the oldest in the U.S., was founded in 1924 and is currently owned by Multicultural Radio Broadcasting Inc. Diverse programming continues to make WGBB a vital force and "the station that serves your community."

An award-winning playwright, Mr. Lefkowitz has spent two decades in the entertainment field. He's currently founder and editor of TotalTheater.com, co-publisher of Performing Arts Insider magazine, and off-Broadway editor of New York Theater News.
