SO! It’s been about 6 months now
that 91X has been “cut loose from the corporate noose,” as
Ben Harper so aptly put it when he called in last
week. We appreciate every call and email and love your
continued support and suggestions about how we can
continue to make our little
San Diego station better again. One of the
things we’ve been waiting on is finally here, and it celebrates
not only 91X’s 23 year history in this town but
our newfound independence and local ownership: the infamous
91X bumper sticker! This new edition proudly waves
the flag of freedom from corporate radio and we would be honored if
you would show your support by putting one on your
car, your laptop, your guitar case, even your shinguards.
Wherever! It means the world to us for you to rock
one of our stickers, and it feels great that it represents something
we can all be proud of again. 91X is back! Fly the
flag… er, sticker… and share the love!
Oh yeah, it would
help if I told you where to get one! You can pick one up now at the
Del Taco nearest you (store list), or join us this Friday for a giant
Stick-Off Party at Canes in
Mission
Beach!We’ll
broadcast live all day, and everyone who comes by and puts the 91X
