Dr. Demento's Talonian Productions to make streaming broadcast stations either pay $10,000 a year for rights to stream the Dr. Demento Show or not broadcast it on the Internet, and so on and so on. Fabulous 690's Final Song (Dec 31, 2005)Go to fabulousradio.com and choose the that song that The Fabulous 690 will play before the station changes to a Spanish-language talk station come 2006 possibly in February, though the website doesn't list an official last day for the station as yet. Clear Channel is divesting the LMA of this Mexican-owned station operating from Rosarita to another radio operator who has the power to make the new Spanish-language talk format a success for all of southwestern California.Gary Owens will be moving to KKGO 1260/XESURF 540 beginning on Tuesday. Count Down The New Year in La Jolla (Dec 31, 2005)In another annual San Diego tradition, Times Square West will be dropping the ball New Years' Eve to ring in the year 2006 this Saturday night at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine.
