back to San Diego for "Dave Koz and Friends – A Smooth Jazz Christmas." The show stars Patti Austin, Jonathan
Butler, David Benoit, and of course, Dave Koz.
It takes place at Copley Symphony Hall on Sunday,

CD Sampler Release Party/Free Concert!
 CD Sampler 2006 is
almost here! We’ve been keeping a list of the top Smooth Jazz songs from the last year and are set to bring them to you on one CD. CD Sampler 2006
will be going on sale at all San Diego County Borders Books and Music Stores in early November.
 We’ll be hosting a CD Sampler Release Party next Thursday (November 3rd) at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido,
with Kirk Whalum performing live! The only way to get tickets to the show is to win them from us here at Smooth Jazz
98.1. We’ll be giving out FREE tickets this Saturday (10/29) at 12 Noon at Borders in Carmel Mountain –
11160 Rancho Carmel Road. Get there early, tickets are first come, first served, while they last.

New Year’s Eve is rapidly approaching and it’s time to make your plans. There's no more exciting way to spend the evening than at
TIMES SQUARE WEST.
The West Coast’s Premiere New Year’s Eve Celebration takes place at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at
Aventine. Spend the final hours of 2005 listening to the sounds of Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler,
Richard Elliot and Peter White as they perform individually before midnight, and together in a special after-midnight
All-Star Jam Session in the Hyatt's Grand Ballroom.

The second annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival, will be held November 10 - 12 at the Embarcadero Park North.
