91X Newsletter (Sep 2, 2005)

September 2, 2005

91X's 4 O'Clock Fridays are coming down the final stretch as we close out the 2005 91X series with San Diego's own Slightly Stoopid. Fresh off of their show with the Dave Matthews Band, they are sure to make it a fantastic ending to a fantastic run of shows at the track this year. So, get out of work early and kick off your Labor Day Weekend with Slightly Stoopid and 91X!

To Bribe or not to Bribe?

We choose to bribe. After all, what else are we going to do with all of the concert tickets that come our way? We have loads of tickets to join us at one of our upcoming 91X concerts including Oasis with Jet at Coors on September 14th, Garbage at Soma on September 14th, Nine Inch Nails with Queens of the Stone Age at Cox Arena on September 16th, Green Day with Jimmy Eat World at Coors on October 2nd, and Franz Ferdinand at SDSU's Open Air Theater on October 9th. Keep it on 91X this weekend, there are plenty of chances for you to accept a bribe from 91X.

The Brand X G. Love Boat is still looking for listeners to jump on board a party cruise boat to Mexico with G. Love, the Flaming Lips, Slightly Stoopid and more! Cantore has your chance to win at the Wavehouse in Mission Beach next Thursday from 6-8pm. In addition, Brand X has put up two spots on board the cruise in an online auction over the weekend for you to bid on. The winning bid will cut a check that will go directly to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund. Help us turn a fun event into a good cause.

Tailgate, 91X Style
Come tailgate with 91X in section G-1 of Qualcomm Stadium before the SDSU football home opener vs. UCLA this Saturday! There will be live music from Transfer, food, games and more.

See ya
