Summergrass San Diego

Make plans to attend the 3rd annual Bluegrass Music Festival at the 40-acre outdoor Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum in Vista, California (in San Diego North County), Friday, August 26th through Sunday, August 28th.

Summergrass offers a great lineup for 2005, featuring the Grammy Award-winning Nashville Bluegrass Band, Fragment from the Czech and Slovak Republics, back by popular demand; Lost Highway, and more!

Summergrass San Diego features international, national and regional bluegrass bands, a large grassy seating area, music workshops, kids' activities, a 3-day Bluegrass Camp for Kids, dry on-site camping, lots of jamming, tasty food (no alcohol sold), vendors, and more.

News Update! Summergrass is delighted to announce that Vista's own Sara Watkins and Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek will join Stuart Duncan and Gabe Witcher as special guests for our Fiddle Extravaganza on Sunday, August 28 at 1:00 pm.

Join Smooth Jazz 98.1 and Morning Connection host Melissa Sharpe at Applebees on Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon, this Friday from 5:00 PM through 7:00 PM. Everyone who stopps by will receive "The Soundtrack of Summer" CD Sampler while supplies last. You can also pick up your KIFM bumper stickers, magazines, and sign up for the "Trip-A-Day or $1K Giveaway."

Sat Aug 20 Smooth Jazz 98.1 at ASID

Join Smooth Jazz 98.1 on Saturday, August 20th from 10:00 AM until noon for the 8th Annual ASID Clearance Sale. Come by and get great deals from American Society of Interior Designer members on items such as furniture, area rugs, framed art, and more! Admission is $3 per person at the door and a portion of ticket sale proceeds go to ASID student scholarships. For more information contact ASID at (858) 646-9896.

The sale goes from 8 am until 3 pm, but you can join Melissa Sharpe and the Smooth Jazz 98.1 promotion staff from 10 am until noon. Enjoy the smooth sounds of Jason Weber, who will be performing live! Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf will also be mixing up some delicious samples for you.
