Dr. Floyd Featured On iTunes Music Store (Aug 15, 2005)Congratulations to our friend Grant Baciocco of the group Throwing Toasters who lets us know that his weekly comedy fantasy podcast adventure series, "The Radio Adventures Of Dr. Floyd", has made the big time and is featured on Apple's iTunes Podcast Directory this week.Dr. Floyd is featured this week in the iTunes Music Store! Download iTunes 4.9 (For windows & Mac) at: http://www.apple.com/itunes Then check out the Podcast Genre in the iTunes Music Store to see Dr. Floyd. Grant shares us information on how his comedy radio show began:
It all started as a little idea back in April of 2004. A high quality,
slickly produced "old time radio" style show that would tell of the
fantastic adventures of the World's Most Brilliant Scientist. What
began with just a mere 10 to 15 listeners has now evolved, just over a
year later, into a WORLDWIDE SENSATION!
The Radio Adventures Of Dr. Floyd is the most listened to show on
Dementia Radio!
The Podacast of the show, which airs weekly on Dementia Radio's FILL IN
THE BLANK, is now downloaded over 2500 times a week and has had
downloads from over 60 Countries! It's the only Dementia Radio show to
be featured on Apple's Website and was the only Dementia Radio Show to
be nominated for a People's Choice Podcast Award! Now, it's the only
Dementia Radio Show to be featured on the front of Apple's Podcast
Directory in iTunes and and was the first to crack the Top 100 Podcasts
on Apple's iTunes! The show debuted at #100 on Friday night and was at
#85 just 24 hours later.
Now it's time for you to see what the fuss is all about! You need to
tune into FILL IN THE BLANK on Monday, August 15, 2005 and listen to The
Radio Adventures Of Dr. Floyd. This week is a perfect jumping on point
as we begin a two episode story arc that will feature not one, but TWO
real life television stars! One is currently on a TV show that has just
hit syndication and the other is...well, the other is SO BIG, you aren't
going to believe it! The only way to find out who it is is to tune in!
This week we'll also announce the winner of the Dr. Floyd JUMP THE SHARK
CONTEST! You still have time to enter! Just go download the Podcast of
