Planet FM ReAdds Little Steven (July 24, 2005)

Starting this Sunday night, KPLN-FM 103.7 readds the syndicated "Little Steven's Underground Garage" hosted by Little Steven, member of the E Street Band and actor on The Sopranos. It will air Sundays from 10pm until Midnight.

There is no word at this time whether Planet plans to shift Rockline, former occupant of the Sunday 10-MID slot, to another slot.

Sudden Death for Dr. Demento!!! (July 24, 2005)

This weekend and next weekend, it's Sudden Death for Dr. Demento as the host interviews the man behind the comedy rap group.

Tom Rockwell, aka Devo Spice (no relation to the Spice Girls) is interviewed as Tom discusses the history of his group Sudden Death and the Dr. plays some of their hits from the past plus a couple songs from the group's new CD "Die Laughing" available at suddendeath.org (buy the CD, dammit! This rocks!)

"It was truly an honor to be interviewed by the legendary Dr. Demento", says Rockwell. "I am very greatful to have been featured on the show! Thank you Doctor!"

Listen to the Dr. Demento show on the Internet five times a weekend by clicking the Demented Internet Guide and scrolling down for the five stations that carry the Dr. Demento show, or wait until somebody posts it on the USENET newsgroup alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.dr_demento.

See? Dr. Demento's radio show and sandiegoradionews.com provide a public service in the ignored genre of comedy music that's not all about junior-high humor you find on most every morning radio show nowadays. Download and enjoy!
