(see below). Duncan Hunter visits Gitmo, ROGER will invite the Chairman to the show today. Bet there is still fall out from last week’s high court decision on stealing our property. And a whole bunch of weekend stuff that must be addressed. Mondays always busy so tune in early and get ready to speed dial. Homework for this day’s lesson plan may be found here: http://www.rogerhedgecock.com/rogersnews6-27-05.html THE UNITED STATES STUPID COURT!! (supreme our butt) FIRST THE ROBED ONES decide to re-write the constitutional amendment that protects our private property and nearly destroys the Republic for which we stand in the process…then within days they convolute a verdict on 10 Commandments. Their decision: MAYBE!! Huh? SUPREME COURT?…yea maybe in the new America where there are no firm decisions and everyone must be made happy and standing tall is forbidden because it might make other folks look short. HIGH COURT SEZ OKAY FOR CROSSES ON GUMMINT LAND….BUT!!…MAYBE NOT!!…THESE FOLKS ARE CRAZED http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/nation/20050627-0831-scotus-tencommandments.html http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/27/politics/27cnd-commandments.html?hp&ex=1119931200&en=5d8db393eadcac26&ei=5094&partner=homepage SO WHAT HAPPENS WITH OUR CROSS ON MT. SOLEDAD? We gotta look at it as good news but it’s vague enough to give McElroy and the annoyed atheist plenty of wiggle room to continue their effort to tear down Our Cross. Still the lean is our way and even Donna Frye may now have problems advocating the call to fire up the bulldozers. EARS UP TODAY AS ROGER gives us the inside info on where we go from here in our endless battle to preserve Our Cross. AND WE EXPECT YOU ARE STILL REELING over the past weeks property rights debacle. ROGER did a two day rant on the Rush Show on Thursday and Friday, plus you wanted to talk about it on the local show as well. Nobody could clue to the reasoning for the highest court in the land to wander so far off the reservation and depart so dramatically from the words of the founders. We are in really deep doo here folks. If you never figured that supporting George Bush as he nominates new members of this court was worthy, change that mind right now. But as ROGER points out the folks most likely (because of age etc) to bail off the court are those who seem to have actually read the U.S. Constitution. Still when this nomination battle begins you must know that what is at stake is what’s left of America…granted not a lot, but the property rights decision was a bell ringer. The effort is to destroy this great nation, decision by decision by decision. MUTTERINGS **THANKS TO ALL WHO SHOWED UP on Saturday at Budget Car Sales on Miramar Road. A decent turn out to eat burgers, hotdogs, listen to country music and let the kids play bounce house and get faces painted. The fund raiser for Homefront San Diego was a success. A highlight of the day was the appearance of two Medal Of Honor winners who autographed a great coffee table book paying tribute to all of the MOH winners over the years. All proceeds from the sale of the book (a bargain at 25-bucks) went to military family programs in San Diego. HEADS UP because Saturday was the first of three such Budget Car Sales fund raisers. The next one happens on July 16th at Budget’s El Cajon location - 400 North Johnson Street (619-593-3611) And then on August 20th we’re at Budget’s Escondido location at 855 North Broadway (760-735-2673). AND IN JULY we’ll announce the first annual KOGO Golf Tournament to benefit Homefront San Diego. All greens fees will serve our Warrior families. Ears up for that please. Let me send along ROGER’S personal thanks to all the folks who send us checks for Homefront San Diego. 25 bucks, a hunnerd or 500...each dime is needed and spent entirely on the needs of our Warrior families. I open at least a couple of envelopes each day at ROGER’S KOGO office with nice notes and checks to make sure that while a Warrior is at war his/her family is taken care of. Is there another community in America that does this? Not that I know of…Thanks and God Bless. **THERE WAS MO PIG COOKIN’ on Saturday. After the Budget Car Sales event the wife and I headed over the Flinn Springs Inn where Phil Phillips was cooking a whole hog for the tavern’s annual Luau. A much bigger pig than he cooked at my house a couple of weeks ago for our Salute To Homefront San Diego Volunteers. Same results tho. Folks carting away giant plates of fresh pork, ribs, roast beef and chicken. Everybody asks Phil if he does the pig cookin’ for a living. Nope. Phil sez he just does it for friends. And a dear friend he is…only thing that angers me about this boy is that it’s damned near impossible to buy him a beer. He gets offended. Figures he’s in charge of the beer buying. Can’t never change the ways of an old Navy guy….yeeeech. **WHILST AT THE FLINN we helped Phil put out the spread and make sure the troughs were kept full. And then after the feed we sat for a beer and the missus decided she wanted to dance. Normally I reject such overtures, but Budweiser can loosen one’s contact with common sense. I’m too old a fool to be up jumping around to rock-n-roll. So I relented and we went at it. After that dance the band struck up one of my favorites and so this time I asked the missus for a turn on the dance floor. Danged stupid on my part. I’m up acting like I’m crazy. Hopping up and down and twisting. Fool man. Suddenly my right hip does something real strange and it feels like a bone pops out of a socket or something. Pain, leg won’t take much weight. Danged fool man. Doctor visit set for Wednesday. Ben Gay stench fills the trailer home. But most of the gimp is gone. I’m hoping it was a tendon or some flesh tie strain. Guess I’m gonna be restricted to slow dances to country western music in the future. Ain’t it a shame to get old? **NEW MAYOR POLL OUT TODAY…AND THERE IS AN EVALUATION OF THE SD MAYOR CANDIDATES financial plans out today as well. Ears up for both items on today’s broadcast. We’re already over filled and the show ain’t begun yet. Yikes!! **HOMEFRONT SAN DIEGO HOT LINE….one number for those who want to help a military family and those in the military who are in need. 866-424-9467 GOD BLESS AMERICA WE REMEMBER SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 SAVE OUR CROSS…VOTE YES JULY 26TH (subscribe - unsubscribe: jimmyv@adnc.com ) ----------------------------------------- This email was sent using AIS WebMail. http://www.americanis.net/ _______________________________________________ Flashfax mailing list Flashfax@lists2.adnc.com http://lists2.adnc.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/flashfax |
