THE ROGER HEDGECOCK SHOW
KOGO/AM 600 - 3P - 6P (Pacific)
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
THE RADIO MAYOR OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
THURSDAY JUNE 2ND , 2005

TODAY ON THE RADIO: Big Mike Aguirre joins ROGER for an update on SD city
shenanigans. A U.S. Marine sniper visits to talk about removing Islamic
killers from the earth, one bullet at a time. More on ROGER’S Tax Revolt
broadcast of tomorrow. And stuff that comes up and news that breaks, plus
insight that ain’t possible on any other radio broadcast. No brag, just
fact. Your homeworkCA TAX REVOLT BEGINS TOMORROW IN SAN DIEGO
(porkers beware)

ROGER lending a hand again to our Governor and GOP state lawmakers to
battle democrat Porkers. The dems figure to buy our way out of state
deficit by taking more of your money at gunpoint (that would be taxes
folks). Like 2-billion or more.

So we’ve decided to light a fire under the citizens of California. Hit
them upside the head with a board and say, “wake up, you are being
robbed….again” …and we do that by broadcasting live tomorrow outside of
the KOGO studios from 3p - 6p. ROGER will let the Governor and no-tax
lawmakers know that we have their back.

And we’re gonna make fun of democrat taxers and have some fun ourownselves
at the same time. We’re feeding folks free Pork Ribs, we’ll have a pig
petting zoo for the kids (and adults?), and we’ll have some old fashioned
pig cookin’ Blue Grass Music.

We’re hoping that ROGER’S Tax Revolt in California will prompt similar
revolts in towns across California. In fact I guess that means we have to
get on the phone today to talk show buds across the fruited plains of Gold
State to encourage them to get revolting.

JOIN ROGER TOMORROW…JUNE 3RD….3P - 6PM…Here’s the info you need:

Tax Revolt Rally
with Roger Hedgecock
The Democrats in Sacramento are at it again.
They just proposed a multi-billion dollar income tax increase
to pay for, you guessed it, even more government spending.
Governor Schwarzenegger has it right:
California doesn’t have a revenue problem; it has a spending problem.
Help the Governor with his “intervention” to stop the “spending addiction”
in Sacramento and say NO to the Democrats’ new tax increase!

MUTTERINGS

**GUNS AT THE FAIR….I don’t have a carry permit. I can’t take a gun to the
fair. But ROGER is right. Those who do have a permit and off duty police
and retired cops and all like that who qualify to use a weapon in service
to community ought to pack at the fair. Twice now ROGER has had fair folks
on the show saying that off duty cops are likely to open fire without
cause and shoot up the place at random. Huh? This from the guy who runs
the fair and his paid PR flunky.

How many times must it be said that we are a NATION AT WAR!! Everybody who
can legally carry a gun should be packing. It goes back to the constant
truth revealed in all “carry states,” that bad people worry a lot that
somebody they’d like to hurt, kill or rob may be carrying a gun.

We don’t need me with a gun at the fair but we do need folks who have a
legal permit, are constantly trained and qualified and work(ed)
professionally as public protectors to carry.

Try as we might we can’t seem to get this homeland security thing
right…even in wartime. Amazing.

**A SPECIAL THANKS TO SYCUAN CASINO FOLKS in Dehesa Valley. They have
given me a whole bunch of gift certificates for our Homefront San Diego
Volunteers. We salute those men and women a week or so from now for their
tireless efforts since 911-01 on behalf of our military families.

I made one call to Adam Day at Sycuan yesterday. He said, “what do you
need?” and then said “here it is.” I picked up the gift certificates last
evening on the way home.

Adam also gave me a news tip. Some 38 million dollars due to local
communities to relieve casino impact sitting in a bank account at some
commission place. The commission folks say they are holding the money for
a “rainy day.” Huh? The money legally cannot be spent except to help
casino towns make roads and turnoffs and other kinda stuff that needs
doing because the casinos attract traffic and all like that.

Dehesa Road shore can use a re-do. And what kinda “rain,” is gonna prompt
the commission to save the money. Folks at Sycuan want the money spent as
intended.

**RIDDLE ME THIS!!…according to the Taxpayers Network (
www.taxpayersnetwork.org ) California pays it’s gummint school teachers
better than any other state in the nation. Number Uno at an estimated
average salary of $58,287 per year (for not a full years work, mind you).
Flipping a couple of pages I then find numbers about our graduation rate.
Gosh, we list at number 32 on the ladder of all states including D.C.

Keep that ponder when you hear CA teacher unions demand more money. Arnold
is right, we need more bang for our current education buck. Join the
Revolt tomorrow!!!

**HOMEFRONT SAN DIEGO…NOTE, we have a temporary problem with our toll free
hotline. It keeps cutting folks off before you can leave a full message.
We have experts working on the problem but it has persisted since the
weekend. Fortunately there is some redundancy in the hi-tech system that
we use so we do have the phone numbers on all the folks who call and we’re
in the process of calling folks back as quickly as we can. So keep
calling, we’ll get your phone number and call you back to find out if you
need help or how you want to help a military family.

Life ain’t simple but it’s still fun….866-424-9467.
