TODAY ON THE RADIO: More fall out at Ye Ole City Hall in SD City caused by
Big Mike. Boy is a rolling tornado!! Newt Gingrich visits with ROGER. The
Newtster has (like Rush) seen the light on illegal immigration. Macarena
has a whole bunch of other stuff on the show format and is adding stuff as
we type so be surprised along with me. If you miss a minute of ROGER’S
showcooler (don’t you just hate that?) NOTE: SD Mayor Dick Murphy joins ROGER
tomorrow (Friday) at 5pm for a chat update!!
We’ll try to begin the show at about 3:07. The house rule is homework

SUNSHINE!!
(bout time)

YIKES!! I’m loving the rain. Need it for the well so we don’t yell at the
skies much out here in Dehesa Valley. But I’m hoping the aquifer is about
topped off and I’m glad to see the blue and gold over my head this
morning. As they say in Texas the past few weeks have amounted to a “turd
floater.” But most of the folks I drove the roads with behaved themselves.
Went slow, left distance between vehicles and made nice to each other.
>From the home office window I can hear the stream stuff gushing down the
rocks and all around me there is deep green and flourishing earth. Our
water holes are pretty well filled up. So we’ve been blessed!! But it is
nice to see Mr. Sun return. Improves our disposition as well, yes?

THANKS AGAIN for the great ROGER reception on Rush on Monday and Tuesday.
Very long but rewarding days.

YESTERDAYS SIMULCAST WITH JOHN & KEN up at KFI in Los Angeles came off
well. The duo and we hope a ton of their listeners are coming with a dozen
radio talk show hosts from across America to D.C. with us April 23 - 28th
to demand immigration reform and some real homeland security…I.e. a secure
border. J&K are powerhouses on this issue in mega-town LA.

If you care about this issue at all we invite you to come with us. We keep
saying this is gonna be history happening and that’s no lie. We can
energize talk radio listeners from the four corners of this great nation
and get done what the professional pols haven’t done…We’re keeping costs
cheap and we’re frankly challenging all those millions of folks who call
talk radio every day and bitch about illegal aliens, tax paid benefits to
illegals, terrorists coming across the borders, disease coming
too….amnesty, closed ER’s and jam packed school classrooms. STOP
WHINING…it’s now time to do something and make a difference and get this
done.

In the days ahead we’ll have talk show hosts who are signed up to be with
us in D.C. along with their listeners on ROGER’S show and try to get ROGER
on their shows as well. We are beginning to get a national buzz on this
effort. But the key is not just having all us talk radio hosts in D.C…the
ultimate key is having our listeners there….we did the Recall in
California. We got a new Governor in Ca. We’ve citizen lobbied to support
this Governor and get CA back on track. We can mobilize this great
audience and multiply our people power beyond the confines of California
and demand immigration reform.

Everyday I get at least two dozen emails from folks agreeing with ROGER
about the failure of our immigration policies…I’m in the habit now of
writing back and telling them to join us in D.C. Writing emails to us
ain’t doing squat to solve the 400 problems of current immigration
dictates from D.C. Some folks write back and say they can’t come cause
they’ve got gout or the dog runned off or we’re living in a poor house.
Then stop writing. It’s a waste of precious internet space. The problem
can’t be that serious if all folks are willing to invest in a solution is
bitch and moan. Can’t do something about the problem…live with it!!
Unfortunately that may mean a suitcase bomb being slipped across the
border at Border State Park or the pathways up near Lake Champlain.

MUTTERINGS

**I DON’T WRITE REAL GOOD and sometimes folks don’t understand. Like our
recent flash typing about a road bypass up in Ramona and how I got a call
last Friday about the topic. Well some folks read that and decided that we
were doing a major segment on ROGER’S radio show THIS FRIDAY. E-mail trees
got lighted up and folks encouraged to call in THIS FRIDAY to chat up why
making a road bypass is terrible. Which we guess is okay. This is your
Community Forum but we don’t have nothing formal planned. Homeowners up
there don’t want to be domained by the gummint to make the road bypass
which we guess gummint folks figure will help unclog nightmare traffic
congestion. Hey, it’s citizen activism even if it is only a few citizens
impacted by the road build.

**AND IT SEEMS LIKE SUN VALLEY CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL up there in Ramona
stays in dire straits. They’ve been in operation for about three years now
and have stayed in financial trouble. Folks involved blame the school
district for not being supportive…DUH. Most school districts would rather
have their daughters marry a Texan than support charter schools. Charter
schools do all sorts of non-union stuff…like concentrate on kids rather
than administration…put as much ADA money into the classroom as possible
rather than into teachers pockets and courses on human husbandry.

But the real problem up in Ramona seems to be that the school hasn’t
gained the support of the Ramona community. Kids aren’t lining up to be in
the school. Parents aren’t so fed up with regular gummint school that they
are pulling kids out and putting them into the charter. And the community
isn’t responding to near constant fund appeals to support the school.

This school needs a Denny Snyder, the spark plug behind Escondido Charter.
God only made one of him which may be an argument for human cloning.

**WAL-MART PROBED FOR CHILD LABOR VIOLATIONS? That’s a headline we read
recently in the NYT. We’re confused. Ain’t Wal-Mart the big box place that
hires old folks? They been caught hiring folks under 65 years of age?

**YOU NOTICE THAT IT SEEMS like everybody in California is a Former
Speaker of the CA Assembly. They got two formers running for Mayor up in
LA. I expect next I’ll stop at a biker bar and see a bunch of folks
wearing their colors: “Former Speakers Motorcycle Gang.”

**I SWEAR I READ IT…another study done by some folks who get paid too much
money to study things…Smoking helps folks stay skinny. I’m waiting for the
study that sez drinking Jack Daniels makes you handsome.

**YOU LIKE ME? And figure that this entire San Diego pension scandal would
be more interesting to a wider audience if there was more sex? I know we
got two (remaining) council folks under indictment involving the Cheetahs
strip club and that’s real fun what with nekked-ness of womens and
involvement of mob folks and the Vegas-San Diego connection. But that’s
kinda an old story (until they clap the two council folks in prison)…we
need something more!!

Maybe we should start some rumors. I’d start some here but I’d get into
trouble. But consider the personalities and the possible matchups.

**BIG MIKE GRANDSTANDING!! Some talk that Michael Aguirre is doing too
much press conference and near indictment reports on pension scheme in San
Diego. Some say he should keep a lower profile and quietly issue reports
and attend afternoon tea at the Grant Hotel.

Frankly we love the grandstanding. For the first time we think the public
is now paying attention to the outrage of under funding pension plans,
sweet hearting deals for top dog union honchos in return for votes on the
pension board, lying to the SEC and bonding agencies, hiding illegal acts
from auditors and all like that. For the first time we’re sensing an angry
citizenry in placid and sedate San Diego. Why? Cause Big Mike is raising
hell!! IN PUBLIC and on a constant basis.

Bout time we played hard ball and called a spade a shovel. Whispering
don’t get nothing done. But it’s hard to have that second cocktail at the
fancy City Hall party when there is a large pile of poop in the center of
the room. Folks tend to notice that!!

Grandstand Mike…PLEASE!!

One that disgusting note, we’d better wrap this up before we get in
serious trouble.
