Update: Jagger and Kristi (February 25, 2005)Jagger and Kristi's website http://www.jaggerandkristi.com/ reports that they're answering the fan e-mails through their website as fast as possible. "Keep checking the site for news of where we will land on the radio", says on their "News" page of their website. Check out the "Feedback" page for some e-mails from some of the fans who miss hearing the show.Several readers were upset when they called or e-mailed their former home My 94.1 asking what happened to the morning team, but they got no answer from them. Talk about bad business practices. Shannon e-mails: "I just must say that you are truly missed on the radio. I really enjoyed listening to your radio show every morning on my way to work. I found your station was good listening, not the trash like on the other stations. Are you all coming back to the radio, because right now its very boring on my ride into work." Read more e-mails at their website. In a related note, Jagger and Kristi are for some reason part of a Yahoo! search that still brings up their other former Star 100.7 website. They were hosts of the Top 20 Countdown show on that station from 1999 or so until they left in 2002. Check out the URL (all one line):

Jagger and Kristi just updated the look of their website. SDN continues to get e-mails
regarding the whereabouts of the former Star and My husband and wife, or wife and husband
team that were last heard on Feb 11. Visit them at
http://www.jaggerandkristi.com/
and they'll keep you informed when their "next chapter of their lives" begins.
Perhaps they'll start a Starbucks franchise? Run a Domino's Pizza store?
Even start their own podcast talk show? (SDN note: cheapskate D.T. doesn't own an iPod).
Their three-year contract with the station will have expired in March, so its common practice for a radio station
to take the onair deejays off the air with pay (no-compete clause, meaining, no Star or KYXY)
for about a month until they are officially released when their contract expires. I guess the last thing
My needs is another Phil Hendrie tantrum on his last day at KFI.
E-mail from Lori (last name withheld by SDN):
I'm wondering what happened to Mark Jagger and Kristi Knight-Jagger on FM 94.1. Did they
move somewhere else? I really enjoyed their program and miss them in the mornings.
I'm always surprised when DJs are just gone without a trace and never mentioned again! Thanks.
As for My's so-big major Tuesday announcement? Nothing to do with Mark and Kristi, so who cares?
We didn't fall for their hook and sinker teaser on Monday so we didn't make a mention of it here.
They tell me that their former afternoon sidekick from the Star days, Chachi,
is operations manager of KBIG and KOST in Los Angeles. The name of their old afternoon
show was modestly titled "The Big Drive-Ya-Home Afternoon Show."
After that,
they moved on to the available morning slot on upstart "My 94.1"
in March of 2002. The show focused on life in San Diego
with lots of listener interaction, News, Traffic and Music.
Jagger and Kristi had a wonderful time starting and ending the workday with the listeners on the radio
since 1995. They have witnessed the listeners rally together to provide food for the needy,
help San Diego's children and support our Military.
Their website has been updated to include a
BIO.
