Take Me Out To The Petco Park (April 30, 2004!)

"Have you been to a baseball game at the new Petco Park yet?

"FM 94/9 has a great night planned for a group of people to come watch the Padres sold-out game against Sammy Sosa and the Chicago Cubs on Saturday, May 15th. The Padres have reserved a limited number of premium seats to the game for FM 94/9 at $75, but we're going to sell them to our Insiders for $65. Along with a ticket to the game, you get a whole bunch of other great stuff. Keep reading below if you're intrigued and want to find out more about this great night at Petco.

"For your $65, you get a ticket to watch the sold-out game from the most exciting spot in Petco Park, atop the Western Metal Supply building in left field. Also, FM 94/9 is hosting a pre-game gathering at Canes Bar and Grill in Mission Beach from 3 - 5pm. Canes has generously offered up a nice appetizer spread for everyone going to the game with us, and has promised us some good beer and drink specials. Yes, we took care of the food, but the booze is on you. Of course, after two hours of pre-gaming, we're not going to make you drive to the game, so we have arranged for a double-decker bus to take us all down to Petco Park.

"Once, we get down to the park, we have a premium suite atop the Western Metal Supply building for the game. We've arranged to hook you up with some food and drinks in the suite as well. Then after the Padres have won and the game is all over, we'll bus you back to Canes.

"We're all very excited about the game and would love to see you there with us. So, round up some friends and head over to Canes to purchase your tickets. You can buy tickets at Canes any time during their normal business hours starting this Friday, April 30th. Insiders have the first opportunity to buy tickets to the game. All you have to do is print this e-mail and take it to Canes with you to prove you're an FM 94/9 Insider, then you can buy the tickets, at our special Insiders price, before anyone else can. Then, next Thursday, May 6th, if there are still tickets available, we're going to make this trip to the ball-park known to the general public. We will let everyone else know that they can go to Canes to get this great ticket package (for the non-Insiders price of $75). In the mean-time, if you want to assure yourself a seat at the game, head over to Canes before next Thursday to purchase your ticket. You can buy up to 6 tickets per person, just remember they're still $65 a piece.

Tickets are $65, but along with your ticket, you get transportation to and from the game, a pre-game gathering at Canes Bar and Grill and some food and drink down at the ball-park. All attendees of the game with us must be at least 21 years-old. Remember, we have a limited of seats, so start rounding up your friends and family for this great evening. We'll see you at Canes to get warmed up for the game, and then we'll go down to Petco and cheer on the Padres together.
