Their feud with the band Blur is legendary in the UK. --Lou Barlow of SEBADOH formed another band, Folk Implosion, in the late 90's , after Sebadoh broke up. --HUSKER DU, out of Minneapolis, became one of the most successful punk bands in history. Also, our eternal gratitude to the Firefighters (all of them), who put forth their efforts to stem the fires from doing any more damage...we salute you! You are our heroes...Thank You! --PAT BENETAR'S "Invincible" is the main song in the Helen Slater 80's movie "The Legend Of Billie Jean" --"My Hero" from the FOO FIGHTERS is from their 1997 album, "The Colour And The Shape", the last featuring guitarist Pat Smear as a member of the band. --THOMAS DOLBY'S musical nerd-love song "She Blinded Me With Science", is from his album "The Golden Age Of Wireless". Once A nerd...always a nerd. --JULIANA HATFIELD followed up 1993's "Become What You Are" hit album with 1995 "Only Everything" featuring the song "Universal Heartbeat". Unfortunately for the Pennsylvania outfit, continued success hasn't come easy. Any album afterwards hasn't lived up to expectations. --Los Angeles band L7 put the "Grr" in "Riot Grrl" music. "Stuck Here Again" is a rare slow tempo offering from the hard rock band. --FOOD FOR FEET is the band formed by former Oingo Boingo mates John Avila and John "Vatos" Hernandez. "Why Me" is from the groups final LP, "Order". |
