Phil Flowers Passes On 12-22-03As we mentioned a few days ago, Chris Carmichael tipped us off on the passing of San Diego radio legend Phil Flowers who was last seen producing radio shows for KCBQ 1170 including the Mike Cook radio game show "Hooked on Trivia", which returns Saturday 1/2/04 with a new show, possibly doing a tribute to Flowers. Also, Larry "Preacherman" Thompson, host of the Gospel Celebration on Sunday mornings on KCBQ and KPRZ tipped us on the passing. The local newspaper in town has made no mention of his passing as of Sunday.
