When Puddle of Mudd wanted to do a benefit concert for the victims of the San Diego area firestorms, who'd they call to get the word out? 91X. So, here's the word. The show is at Soma Saturday, November 15th, and tickets go on sale to the general public this Saturday at 10am. But you're not the general public. As a member of the 91X E-File, you can grab get your tickets tomorrow (Friday) from 10am-5pm HERE. Just type in 'help' for the password. All proceeds benefit the 91X/ Salvation Army "Fire Aid," with all the money staying right here in the San Diego Community. Star 100.7 News 11-4-03!rronlineSan Diego's 'Star' Surpasses $1.3 Million In Fire Donations... In fact, Hot AC KFMB-FM (Star 100.7) expects to collect more than $1.5 million in listener donations to help benefit victims of the three San Diego County wildfires that continued to rage through the weekend in the inland mountainous areas of the region. As of 10am Friday Star tabulated exactly $1,273,318 in donations — including more than $250,000 in cash. The station also went and purchased all 10,000 tickets to a local Jewel show and on Thursday asked that listeners make donations to fire victims in order to receive a ticket for the show; the tickets were gone by 6am Friday. Among the big companies making big donations: WD-40, which had its marketing director hand morning hosts Jeff & Jer a check for $50,000. From Star 100.7... More Than $1.4 Million Donated! Thank You San Diego! Friday morning, October 31st, at the parking lot of the San Diego Sports Arena, San Diego came together on Star 100.7 and the Jeff and Jer Showgram along with Local 8 and raised $1,412,391.00 (that's one million, four hundred twelve thousand, three hundred, ninety one dollars)...The money has gone to the American Red Cross and will help all the families that lost their homes in San Diego last week!
