ROGER DOES RUSH MONDAY AND TUESDAY…NOV 10TH & 11TH. ROGER EMBARKS UPON a whirlwind kinda week ahead. On Monday and Tuesday the boss sits in for Rush Limbaugh. ROGER, of course, will do his own local radio programme which means six hours of radio on those days. His thinking is that while we love doing Rush and talking to a national audience of 20-million listeners, our role in life is to serve hometown Southern California first and foremost.

BUT IT GETS BETTER...on Tuesday after the Rush show ROGER hops in the Budget Car Sales special and hustles over to San Diego Harley Davidson at 5600 Kearny Mesa Road

THEN COMES WEDNESDAY and another very special local broadcast. The 2nd Annual Dr. Laura and Roger Hedgecock MY STUFF BAGS Radiothon. Live from Carlsbad Company Stores at 5620 Pasco del Norte, Suite 100 in Carlsbad.

This is a very special broadcast. Dr. Laura joins ROGER live to raise money to produce and deliver My Stuff Bags. What is a MSB? Well it’s like something a child can call his or her own. Children who have been rescued from an abusive home (like beating, not enough to eat, dad beat mom or other way around, drugs, booze and fill in the blank). Rescue is good but the kid ends up getting traveled around from gummint agency to foster care to who knows where. A My Stuff Bag is something private and personal. A great looking gym kinda bag filled with a stuffed animal, a blanket, small toys, books, tooth brush and paste, comb…you know stuff that a child knows belongs to him/her. All sorts of things are changing around me but I have MY STUFF and nobody can take it away from me.

AND ONE MORE ONCE…on Wednesday evening ROGER is honored by the Desert Pacific Council, Boy Scouts of America as the 2003 Patriot of the Year. Yea, we do the Radiothon and then hustle south on the I-5 (can you hustle on the I-5?) to the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, 3777 La Jolla Village Drive for the award banquet.

You may attend this event as well…and yep, once again it’s fund raiser…this time for Scouting in San Diego. Dinner for one cost a hundred dollars with the loot going to expand scout programs.
