FM 94/9: Ganesh Fest 2003 (Takes Place 11-8-2003)

FM 94/9 invites all of our Insiders to join us for Ganesh Fest 2003.

Ganesh Fest is the brain-child of the band Unwritten Law who wanted a way to show their support and appreciation for San Diego’s thriving music community. Ganesh Fest is a day of live musical performances by some of San Diego’s established acts, like Unwritten Law and Rocket From The Crypt, as well as some up-and-coming bands; Pepper, Accident Experiment, Agent 51 and Denver Harbor.

2003 marks the second year for Ganesh Fest which will move from its initial location at the Starlight Bowl in Balboa Park to the Coors Amphitheatre in Chula Vista. Ganesh Fest 2003 will be a day-long event held on Saturday, November 8th.

Ganesh Fest 2003 is also a benefit for Stand Up For Kids, a charity which raises money and support for homeless and at-risk youths in San Diego County. FM 94/9 and Unwritten Law have pledged $2500 and the donation of over 300 t-shirts to Stand Up For Kids.

Tickets for Ganesh Fest 2003 are available now from all Ticketmaster locations for the low price of $12.50 (plus that pesky Ticketmaster service charge). However, if you want to avoid the service charge, you can buy tickets from the Coors Amphitheatre Box Office on any day on which there is a show at Coors. You may also purchase tickets from Lou’s Records in Encinitas to avoid the service charge.

FM 94/9 will be giving away five Taylor Guitars autographed by the members of Unwritten Law. Listen for our "Random Acts of Kindness" to find out when and where we will be registering people to win these items.

We would also like to invite our Insiders to join us at LEGOLAND® California in Carlsbad on Saturday, October 25th for "Brick or Treat." This will be a fun day of activities for the whole family.

This Halloween celebration will include a costume contest for the kids, trick or treating on the Brick or Treat trail, zany street performers and of course LEGO® pumpkins, witches, ghosts, spiders and more!

Stop by any FM 94/9 event between now and October 24th and we will have a four-pack of Legoland tickets for you. All you have to do is tell us you're an FM 94/9 Insider!

As always, thanks for listening! We'll see you at LEGOLAND and Ganesh Fest 2003.
