M. F--kin' V, to sign another petition, this time, to abolish the Illegal Driver's License bill. I wish CCSD provided me with a petition to outlaw the DMV as well. I already signed a petition there two weeks ago to abolish the Car Tax (not just the increase, the whole tax!) ROGER broadcasted live from the KOGO parking lot where more than 400 drivers signed one or both petitions mentioned. Some also brought food for Operation Homefront and got a free bumper sticker. ROGER set up a broadcasting stand on the pavement just between the Clearchannel World HQ at 9660 Granite Ridge Drive and the Matrix (whatever the hell it is) building. More from the FLASHFAX: SORRY but we do not have a lot of the Car Tax petitions to hand out…our supply has dwindled and we’re trying to get thousands printed locally (no small feat given the 4-page folder nature of this petition) but we need your signature on the petition supply that we do have. We do have a modest supply of Illegal Driver’s License petitions, so we can give you some of those. (we have to order more of them as well…yikes). WE NEED A PRINTER…WANT TO HELP US OUT? AND BRING US SOME FOOD PLEASE... As referenced in this space previous, our Ophomefront larder is near empty and we face the demands of Thanksgiving and Christmas (what about Hanukkah, Ramadan, and Kwanzai, Roger? They get hungry too.) just around the corner. (You'll have to do it again in March, Roger for the Vernalmas, Passover, and Easter Food Drives as poor people are hungry year round). Bring us some canned or otherwise nonperishable food stuffs You may know that Ophomefront has taken over a major weekly food distribution program formerly run by a local church group. We distribute food to Warrior families at military housing complexes across the county. Demand is high. Supply is low. Bring us stuff for kids to eat. And you can drop off food at a variety of locations across the county…at ROGER’S KOGO studio, of course, but also at a host of other places. I thought the locations were on Macarena’s Clipboard but I couldn’t find them..nor on our Operationhomefront.net website…we’ll see if we can’t correct that today so you can see where you can drop food off for our Warrior families. Actually let me give you a few geographic drop off points…In north county: Pacific Tire & Wheel, 515 N. Coast Hwy, Oceanside and Rapid Transmission, 260 N. Juniper, Escondido. In east county: Budget Car Sales, 400 N. Johnson, El Cajon and Rapid Transmissions, 8861 La Mesa Blvd, La Mesa. Kearny Mesa area: Fox 6 News, 8253 Ronson Road, San Diego. That gives you a couple of locations to start with. 94/9... 12 Boards in 12 Months!... Beginning October 1, we're giving away a new South Coast surf board every month!
