True, but how many of the stations in TJ show up regularily above a 1.0 in the Arbitrons? The stations there serve TJ for the most part, especially the lower-wattage stations.

There are eight stations the serve the North County area, plus seven in the Temecula/Hemet area. They principally serve those areas, translating other stations' feeds or not.

Four of the San Diego-based radio stations are broadcasting in Spanish, and since many English-speaking people don't understand Spanish, they don't count either towards the total.

Therefore, lets summarize the radio station count for San Diego county and see what radio stations are truly serving the English-language audience in the San Diego metro area. When KSDO went Spanish last month, it left one potential audience and went into another.
