What D.T. Plans To Do During The Upcoming Season

And now, here's what I plan to do during the closing years of watchable network
broadcast television viewing.

Summary: After spending almost 40 years watching broadcast TV, peaking in the 1975-79
years, I'm just about ready to retire completely from the habit altogether, and just before
the analog signals are shut off when TV goes exclusively HDTV and I won't be able
to afford the $500 HDTV set it's expected to cost, or the tape recorders to time shift them
to a time when I can watch them.

As for dramas, I'm following the world crisis dramas on the news and talk radio stations,
so that's enough drama for me for the day. After dealing with real life dramas, I want
to unwind, and listening to funny music and comedies and downing some beers
are how I relax from the stress. I just don't have the time to deal with weekly Survivor
contests or fictious crisises that's all over the TV nowadays.
