This is Chachi filling in for David.
Albert, Beverly, David, Scott, Hoss, Carlotta, Alyssa, and Lenny stayed on the island to have some fun. Mindy, and Wilma took a plane (I guess Wilma's witchcraft powers needed some rest) back to San Rubio. I picked them up in the afternoon after their plane returned them home.
At Atlantica Island, the guys went around the island to see what they can find. They went to Sea Land and watched some of the trained sea animals. One of the seals was heckled by some mean guy in the audience. The seal grabbed a hand with a middle finger raised up and gave the heckler the finger with it. The audience cheered. The heckler got mad and tried to strike at it. Securty men seized the heckler and wrestled him to the ground.
Inside one of the aquariums, one of the electric eels shortcircuited itself and went dark because a blowfish blew up when it filled itself up with too much water.
The killer whale show had the whale jumping over 12 boats in a mock motorboat ride. Shampoo the killer in a Evel Knevel getup whale rode the motorboat up the ramp and it flew across 12 boats before finally landing. The audience cheered.
After the shows, the folks left and checked out the beach. The women were dark tanned, long legged, big haired, smooth voiced, and a well built pairs of endowments on both sides. This works better than Viagra. Lenny got too excited about the ladies that his third leg began to throb so big and hard that it drew all of the blood from his brain and heart, causing Lenny to have a heart attack, and he died.
Oh my God. The beach babes killed Lenny! Death by overerection. Not even Viagra could cause this to happen. I guess the women on the island are way too hot; they're hotter than Beyonce and Shakira!
In the evening, they went out to the Fish Boat for a seafood feast. There, they watched some of the Vernalmas Madness college basketball games. Earlier this afternoon, there were 16 games played with 32 teams out of 8,192 that survived. This evening, pairs of the winners of the games played again on the same day. There were 8 more games played with 16 players. The poor college basketball players must be tiring out. Good thing there's just two more days of this left and three games to go. Maybe next year they won't have so many teams qualifying for the tournament. The folks also watched some lounge acts play swankified versions of punk rock songs.
Later that evening, they returned to their hotel rooms to get some rest. They would be packing up and returning by plane to San Rubio on Saturday afternoon.
Back in San Rubio, Mindy suggested to me that I (Chachi) drive her to a 99 cent store to get some cheap watches. I asked why. Mindy thinks that if she can get the demons from hellmouth to wear the watches by 2am Sunday morning when Daylight Saving Time returns, they will be in the wrong time zone as it becomes 3am and they will all be sent to the Wrong Time Zone. I (Chachi) drove her back home to get her parents Wendy and Jennifer to help her out. Angelina went with them to help out. I went to Green Acorns to meet up with Lance on launching his new radio station after I went to the Comedy Music Worldwide Ministries Headquarters to pick up some geek and nerd music for Lance to play.
Wilma and Conan went to Sid's coffin and waited until he woke up when the sun went down. They told Sid about the plan. Sid asked why would a demon want a 99 cent watch for since they don't need time. Wilma said that they would find a way to convince the demons to wear the watches before Daylight Saving Time kicks in. Sid said that it wouldn't work because Sunnychip is always on Mountain West Standard Time and this town doesn't set their clocks ahead one hour, and Wilma and her folks would have to make them go to nearby Sautee where they do change their clocks. Wilma says that she'll think of a plan before tomorrow night.
At Green Acorns, Lance got his new radio station running with an all-nerd core format, playing all songs for nerds and geeks. Gina got a new job as a hot waitress in a bar in the Corny Casino.
Barb, Marcie, Patty, and Ellen checked in. They told me that they and their dates, Lisa, Nancy, Kim, and Charlotte, who are Mindy's sisters, are all planning to go to the Penultimate Vernalmas Holiday Party in Sautee, and are also helping the city of San Rubio get their parade floats ready for the Big Balloon Parade on Sunday morning.
Mr. Smith the wizard meets up with Ollie the teenage ogre, along with his father Robert. Smith asks Robert if they want to go see the San Rubio Peskies battle the Smog Angeles Runners baseball game at Dogco Park. They agreed to go. They went to Friday's game as the baseball season was beginning. One of the catchers in outfield caught one right at the wall. One hitter hit it as a homerun and Ollie caught the home run ball. They plan to go again Saturday night.
Meanwhile in the digital TV and radio world, many radio and TV stations remained off the air because they did not convert to digital when the deadline was reached at the beginning of the year. I miss the all 60s TV show action station. Somehow, it doesn't look good in high definition and in Ted Turner colorization as shown on a competeting station. The Old Western channel looks okay; they even got it in high definition 4:3 black and white format. My favorite station, the New Wave Techno Nation 106.34 FM format, remained off the air until they would get a new digital transmitter, which are hard to buy because they're in high demand right now. So for now, I have to settle for Sofia 103.75 FM, which plays some of the new wave techno, but plays too many soft songs to suit me.
That's it for Friday. David should be back to writing this diaries. He will post the remaining two dates on his website sandiegoradionews.com/0700.htm in case we don't get a chance to do so after this posting.
More later.
Chachi.
