Before I begin my entry for my second day of vacation, here's the holiday lineup for this holiday season:
Day 1: Mar 14/Blue 21: Vernalmas Holidays Begin
Day 2: Mar 15/Blue 22: Days finally as long as the nights most places
Day 3: Mar 16/Blue 23: Understanding all religious cultures day (you don't have to agree with them, just understand why they exist and live with them).
Day 4: Mar 17/Blue 24: Get an early jump on summer day. Practice the summer lifestyle...whatever!
Day 5: Mar 18/Blue 25: Get out of the house and play day. It's the end of cabin fever! Get a blowtorch to melt the snow!
Day 6: Mar 19/Blue 26: Feed the Homeless Feast Day. Better yet, give them a job, and a place to live until they can be on their own! The Vernalmas Holidays are not just a time for giving to the needy, it's a time to get them to pull their own weight. Face it. Just giving blankets and food don't do them much good for long (got that, KSWB and Clear Channel?)
Also: Equimas Eve.
Day 7: Mar 20/Blue 27: Gift giving from those who hibernated thru Christmas.
Also: Equimas Day. Spring Equinox.
Day 8: Mar 21/Blue 28: Rock and Dance Party Day (sort of like Mardi Gras, but wilder, only we've already done our version of lent during the winter months!) Parties are everywhere. I told you that the Vernalmas Holidays are party time!
Also: Return Day.
Day 9: Mar 22/Blue 29: Begin Christmas Shopping Day (the snow's melting, now it's the time to start shopping for Christmas before it gets too cold!)
Also: Exchange Day.
Day 10: Mar 23/Blue 30: Reward yourselves with a family barbecue day
Also: Global New Year's Eve.
Day 11: Mar 24/Aqua 1: Understanding Mother Earth's Wildlife Day
Also: New Year's Day.
Day 12: Mar 25/Aqua 2: Celebrate with beer day. Have a few beer parties with sports, music, and girls wrestling and other manly stuff or something!
Also: Breakfast Feast Day.
Day 13: Mar 26/Aqua 3: Exchanging Jokes With Folks Day. Not really April Fools, but close to it.
Day 14: Mar 27/Aqua 4: Springtime rekindle your love day (Valentines Day without the winter blahs!)
Day 15: Mar 28/Aqua 5: Baseball card collection day
Day 16: Mar 29/Aqua 6: Spring cleaning your home day. Invite your relatives to undo all the damage to your place after staying with you for two weeks!
Day 17: Mar 30/Aqua 7: The Vernalmas Holiday Season blowout family day. The Return of Evening Daylight, Parades, Parties, Fireworks. It's also the start of Daylight Saving Time.
Hope that explains the holidays for you all.
Some other notes, Easter Sunday always falls on the third Sunday in Aqua, which will be Aqua 21st. So it won't be too early or too late to celebrate Easter.
The whole realm was filled with Vernalmas holiday decorations all over as usual, with images of Santo Pedro and his flying buffalo displayed on many houses and other images of the holiday season. There were plenty of Equimas bushes decorated with lights and other stuff.
The intercoms were blasting out comedy Equimas holiday music, which there is no such thing as, but rather, Christmas or Hanukkah music, substituting words and symbols of Equimas for similar items mentioned in the holiday carols. Either way, they were fun to listen to.
Last time I was there two years ago, I blew the transmission in the old Torino and the car had to be put down. Scotty got a new car from Santo Pedro on Equimas. It was a 2005 Chrysforlet Earnhardtian, named after the late race car driver Dale Earnhardt. This model featured six headlights with two of them for high-speed, sleek angled roofline aerodynamics design, extra bright taillights, vertically-opening doors (the ones that go up to open and down to close, eight air vents, 5.1 channel speakers, controls on the steering wheel and driver's side door, seats seven, an automatic transmission with six speeds forward and two speeds for reverse, 600 horsepower, a 4.6-liter, all-steel V8 engine, super power brakes and handling, and all kinds of other stuff. We fitted it with the realm machine for traveling between realms. We used a space plane to travel from Erf to Hiro, Taft, or some other of the satellites that circled Erf. We never thought of going to Rush because it was nothing but a ball of hydrogen gas that glows mysteriosly by itself, even when in the shadow of the Erf or one of the satellites.
I got a chance today to meet up with some old folks. Hoss still runs the Comedy Music Worldwide Ministries Headquarters in the city of El Zono Loco. Scotty and Chachi were all longtime friends.
We meet up with Lenny who was killed twice the last two times I was in El Zona. We're not sure how he keeps getting resurrected.
Alyssa, Carlotta, and Angelina the Little Merbabe were around town somewhere. We'll catch up with them later.
Wendy and Jennifer's adopted girl Mindy was eight the last time I was there two years ago, but when I meet up with them today while we were Equimas shopping, Mindy was all of a sudden 18, and was a top cheerleader in her high school. I asked them why. They told me that the striking TV script writers that SDN hired fast age the children all the time on the soap operas. OK. Whatever. One more thing about Mindy: She's a pre-op t-girl, but decided to keep her you know what. She's not only a cheerleader in her high school, but also a martial arts expert who has taken down her longtime bullies who picked on her when she was smaller. Their brother Conan who was a toddler was also aged up to age 16 and had a muscular build like a young Arnold Schwartzeneggar.
Mindy's sisters, Lisa, Nancy, Kim, and Charlotte, were doing fine. Their estranged father Carl named four of them after the actresses from "The Facts of Life" for some reason.
Professor Albert Edison the scientist and his wife Dr. Beverly "Bones" McCoy were still kicking around.
Barb, Marcie, Patty, and Ellen, the four butch lesbians who were a help to us, were somewhere, but we don't know if we'll catch them this time around.
The rich and influential husband and wife team of Grant and Dianna Lefkowitz were owners of the San Rubio Star newspaper. They adopted the four girls.
Scotty's friend Allen Wayne is an operator of a supercomputer in the hills that's connected into San Rubio county's government offices and businesses. We might need him again.
Aside of Equimas shopping for the day, I, Scotty, Chachi, Lenny, and Hoss went together to celebrate the holiday season by going to the satellite Hiro, which was about 1,000 miles above the Erf, so we could get a closer look at the new satellite Rush, the glowing ball of hydrogen gas. It took us about three hours to reach the satellite, while the space plane traveled about 333 miles per hour. We took pictures of Rush from the satellite Hiro and transmitted them back to the supercomputers of Allen Wayne for the crew at the center to analyze. Albert the scientist was suggesting that something isn't right with Rush, as there may be someone or some force that has been making Rush glow a bit brighter and hotter than it was in recent weeks. We couldn't get close enough to Rush in our space plane because it's too far out to be reached by space plane and the plane can't hold enough fuel for the round trip. The satellite Hiro has some fuel, but we're not sure whether the fuel that the satellite's inhabitants are using are compatable with the space plane's fuel requirements, so we just use the space plane to travel from Erf to a near satellite and back again to Erf for refueling.
As darkness fell for the night, we noticed that some explosions inside the core of Erf were occurring. We also spotted some kind of rocket shooting up from another satellite, Al. The rocket blasted off from Al and reached Rush. Once it reached near the core, the explosion occurred, causing Rush to glow brighter and emit more heat. It looked like some forces were planning to do something to turn Rush into another Sun, but in a sense, that could spell disaster for Erf because we don't know how dense Rush is and whether the next explosion caused by whoever is on Al would cause Rush to swell up so big that it would literally wipe out life on Erf and all of its satellites. We shot some pictures of what was going on Erf and transmitted them back to the supercomputer center.
When we returned to Erf three hours later when it was night, it didn't seem to look like night. The night was considerably brighter than it was the night berfore because Rush is glowing twice as bright as the full moon when it's full, so it looked like a bizarro day instead of a normal night. Too much light at night.
Hoss went back home. The rest of us decided to go to Lenny's Equimas Party where we met up with a lot of his friends. We played hokeyball, a game that's a cross beteen hockey and foosball. We also had some live comedy folk and rap bands playing such as Cold Waffles, Throwing Fridges, and Sudden AfterLife.
Later on, Angelina, Chachi's wife, joined the party after she and her friends, Carlotta and Alyssa, were done Equimas shopping. They brought along Mindy since her adoptive parents Wendy and Jennifer were away on a business trip.
After the party, which ended late, we were walking to our cars, when all of a sudden, some vampirish creature came out from nowhere and attacked us. The creature almost killed Lenny. Everybody else were trying to fight it, but the vampire was too strong. At least the light from Rush helped us see the creature. Mindy kicked the vampire, but he wouldn't go down. Chachi tried to jab a stake into it, but he knocked it down. The vampire tried to grab Mindy, but she kickboxed him down, and he retreated. The vampire captured Jennifer and was going to bite her neck, when for some reason, some force knocked the vampire out of his course and he fell backwards. Chachi grabbed the stake and jammed it into his heart. The vampire was vanquished. Chachi couldn't believe that he vanquished a vampire. He knew that somehow all of his watching of the reruns of Buffy the Vampire Slayer would pay off. What kind of force knocked the vampire backwards before he could bite Jennifer's neck, we asked around. We then heard an "I did" coming from nearby, and it was Mindy. She has somehow acquired a superpower that would force matter to move backwards or away upon command. Great. Now we have a cheerleader who happens to be a superhero influenced by Heroes as well as a vampire slayer who has a longtime crush on Sarah Michelle Gellar. Could this cheerleader and Chachi save this world if needed? We'll know later.
As I'm typing this late at night, we're watching a video feed of the Padres and Dodgers game from out of Bejing, China. We noticed some weird things about the baseball game, namely, well, cheerleaders! One of them, I swear, looked a lot like Hayden Panettiere, or was it Hannah Montana, I'm not sure. The picture was a bit blurry on our end.
As midnight approached, we looked at Rush and noticed that it was brighter than just an hour ago. Just what are the inhabitants of Al doing by firing rockets into Rush. Are they trying to blow it up or what? They better stop it or else our night is going to turn into day and Erf will have 24-hour days with Suns at both ends of the Erf!
Well, it's 11:51PM Saturday in San Rubio, which is 12:51AM Sunday in El Zono Loco, or whatever time it is. I'm ready to hit the hay and catch the Alyssa Milano movie I taped from Lifetime earlier that evening in the morning. Cya tomorrow.
