David's Vacation Begins! I just arrived in El Zona de los Misterio a few hours ago and was busy unpacking my stuff. Scotty took me in his Earnhardtian automobile fitted with a realm machine over to El Zona at around noon, but I had to reset my watch back one hour to 11am because El Zona west of the time zone where we arrived was on Pacific Standard Time, but east of the time zone line is the Mountain West Time zone where it is NOON, so I was hoping that they would get this time zone split within San Rubio county fixed by now, but to no avail. Once Daylight Saving time begins on the last day of my vacation, the confusion between the cities within the county are even more pronounced. Enough about that. You already read about that in my last adventure two years ago. Hopefully, it won't be much of a factor. So far so good. Nothing' s happening. I'm staying in Scotty's bachelor house for the time being. You know how much the motels and hotels in San Rubio county are charging for Vernalmas vacation goers? One SUV would pay the bill for two week's stay. I'm watching some weird satellite TV channels from one of the nearby planets that orbits the Erf. It's either Taft or Hiro, I'm not sure, but some weird gaseous planet was captured into Erf's orbit recently. It resembles a stillborn star. Scotty told me that scientists studied the weird gaseous planet called Rush and found out that it's a ball full of hydrogen condensed into a sphere the size of Mercury. It glows dimly at night by itself and seems to have some gravitational pull on the Erf. It's always a full Rush because it glows as bright as the Cow, which is the name of the biggest moon the orbits Erf. We can see the Rush when the Cow, Taft, or Hiro, or some other satellite planet that orbits the Erf isn't eclipsing it. Anyway, about the weird satellite TV channels, it looks like some Latin version of Beat the Clock hosted by some man with bee ears with the resemblence of John Belushi as a Bee on Saturday Night Live. Coming up next is Super Soccer where scores are high because there's no dreaded goalies blocking the shots, but the goals are as small as the baskets in basketball. Needless to say, the sport is way popular in the Latin world. There's a lot of satellite TV to explore, so I'll leave this blog for the night and get right into enjoying Scotty's satellite TV channels system. The next day, we're going about town to visit some folks we were with two years ago. I'll check in tomorrow night and tell you what I did. Cya. d.t.
