El Zona de los Misterio Web Novels

Home, El Zona
It's gonna be busy for me this weekend. My two-week annual sabbatical begins the evening of March 14.

For those who can make it into the El Zona realm, Wally-Mart has an early bird special on five inch black and white TV sets for minus $20. They're paying the first ten people to take away the now-obsolete analog relics of the 20th century. Seems that paying $5 wasn't enough. The early bird specials kick off at 4am.

Radio station KHIPP 103.45 HD was launched playing all Equimas music earlier today. The problem with that is that the word Equimas is substituted for the word Christmas in all of the popular Christmas carols. The holiday still doesn't have any original carols of its own. After the Equimas holiday, it plans to flip to another format, possibly either punk polka or heavy metal new age. I'm shooting for disco polka.

Funny morning radio show duo Ray and Huck (get it? Bob and Ray and Tom and Huck) of classic rock radio station KPLANET 99.14 HD plan to break and enter Equimas to 10 different households at random beginning Monday. Last year, they broke into an unlucky house and almost got rubbed out by unfunny morning radio show host Mickey of heavy metal rock K-RACK 105.22 HD, the morning show team's chief and bitter rival. An assistant made sure that they won't break and enter into the homes of people who work in radio.

And finally, analog TV and radio are going off the air in El Zona at 11:59:59pm on New Year's Eve 2011 (Blue 30th) Milliean date (which is March 23, 2008 in Gregorian calendar date). All radio and TV stations's analog signals will be shut down and go digital, causing complete mayhem in the electronics stores where the new digital tuner-equipped TV and radio sets are marked up sky high to bleed the holiday shoppers of as much money as they can get away with. Nobody there wants to deal with having an analog set tuned in to Dick Clark's Rockin' Milliean New Year's Eve countdown as Dick counts down 5-4-3-2-1-....then the analog signal goes off the air, leaving uninformed viewers wondering if it was the end of the world.

Speaking of the end of the world, I've been informed that a key player in an El Zona adventure that I was involved with years ago will have to be saved in order to save the world. Not sure who it is at this time. Scotty will fill me in on that later when he takes me into El Zona in the afternoon of March 14, the start of the Vernalmas Holiday Season, which ends March 30th. I have to remember that I have to set my clock back one hour to standard time before I enter because El Zonians don't go to Daylight time until March 30 (Aqua 7th)
