Day 14: The Concerts in El Zona (March 30, 2006, Aqua 6, 2010)

As of 6am that morning, the ransom tally for the release of Mindy stood at $2,305,254 with only 35 hours left to come up with the $10,000,000. All day long, hundreds of various music venues hosted a Mindy Aid concert featuring local acts where visitors donated anything over $30 to see the acts perform.

The Beers Ampitheatre hosted one of several big showcases featuring The Maggie Maes, an act that does Rod Stewart songs, The Painted Blacks doing Rolling Stones songs, and The You Toos doing U2 songs.

The Eddie Murphy Stadium hosted The Cobweb Strangers doing music of The Who, The Bad Moon Risers for CCR, and The Lotta Loves featuring the music of Led Zeppelin.

Also that day, the El Zona Thon telethon continued to feature comedians, circus acts, lounge singers, and a battle of the geeks contest.

People standing on medians in the streets were getting donations by holding up signs saying "Will Rescue Mindy For Money."

Down by the KSEBQ studio where the telethon was being produced and sent to every TV and radio station in El Zona, the Catholic protesters got into a heated argument with them Venarius counter protesters, accusing the Catholics of being hypocrites because they don't consider Mindy, a giroy, a sexuality entity of its own. The Jewish organizations also condemned the telethon because giroy Mindy should be turned back into a boy Mandy by his estranged father Carl, who was working at a diner in Foolian. The Unitarians are doubling up the support of the release of Mindy by getting more of their members to donate towards the ransom fund. Many supporters also complained about the Catholics about their outdated scriptures that doesn't recognize sexes other than hetereosexual male men and heterosexual female women. The Catholics countered that the supporters are servants of Satan and that deviants will burn in hell. The supporters countered them with using superstititous threats to persuade people into fitting one of only two molds. The Catholics told them that it was contrary to God's wishes to become sexual deviants, but the supporters told them that God made everybody whatever way they choose to test the Catholics for understanding and they flunked. A pushing and shoving match occurred. Police intervened and arrested several protesters and counterprotesters for assulting other people. It is apparent that the Catholics are basically uneducated and brainwashed into believing that their way is the only way to go, when in fact, that it is not so.

Albert and Hoss, meanwhile, have perfected their computer card modification and plan to go live the next evening.

D.T. and Scotty attend several concerts in the El Zona realm.

Back at the castle in Mount La Goony, the boss sends a message via courier that they're not doing so well and that Mindy will be released to Carl the minute the deadline to raise $10,000,000 has passed. Brian Schmuck hopes that the $10,000,000 is raised so that Brian Radio can live in the El Zona radio and city intercoms forever as part of the demand by the boss. Russell gets into a heated argument with the boss's staff over whether Mindy should be relased to Carl if the money doesn't get raised in time.

The Giroy Scouts of El Zona were taking donations while selling fat-free cookies door to door.

Wendy and Jennifer hold a public vigil between music sets in Eddie Murphy Stadium and got the audience to hold up a candle and prayed to Xanna, the goddess of the eternal rainbow color spectrum, for the safe release of Mindy and recieved live television coverage during the El Zona Thon.

Alyssa and Carlotta hold raffles, giving away rare bumper stickers of radio stations that are long gone to raise funds for the ransom for Mindy.

Chachi and Angelina, who were hosting the El Zona Thon, saw the rate donation numbers start to improve. By 10pm, the tally stood at $5,984.025.

Several basketball and hockey team players got into the act by donating in exchange for autographs.

Late at night, in the Foolian diner after closing, Carl is caught skimming money from the fund for Mindy and is fired. Carl uses a gun to shoot the owner of the diner and takes off with the money and stuff he bought with stolen money. Carl sleeps under a freeway bridge overnight.

Late night during the El Zona Thon, women and feman strippers were featured asking for donations, and yes, they were topless and bottomless live on television. The donations from the late night sex addicts watching really began to pump up the donations. By 5am Friday, 12 hours left, the tally stood at $7,252.646.

Also late night, the last of the Mindy Aid concerts at the biggest venues were wrapping up with fireworks displays and the audience singing along with the grand finale songs being performed at each of the Mindy Aid concerts.
