No More Tipton Honda For My Car Repairs (July 30, 2008)Consumer beware! They don't fully check out your car troubles until it's too late, then you have to pay $$$$ to get it repaired. I got it repaired...at ANOTHER car repair shop. Tipton Honda doesn't deserve my business.I asked them to investigate why my car was overheating in June. They couldn't find anything. Another mechanic told me that my hoses were old (they were never replaced), the heater valve was chipped on one side of the jacks where a hose slides over, the radiator failed and had to be replaced, the thermostat was replaced, the water pump was leaking and was replaced, the radiator fans were replaced, the fan relay and fan switch were replaced, the coolant was flushed, the radiator cap was replaced, etc. etc. etc. Did Tipton bother to look for trouble spots? No. In short, except for the heater core and the head gasket, the cooling system was completely overhauled, and should last me four years. This was money Tipton could have gotten if they found the trouble spots developing six weeks ago, but they were lazy and just screwing around with my business. So when the payload trouble happened when I was in Long Beach last week, someone else got my business, not Tipton. They don't deserve any more of my business. So Tipton, YOU'RE FIRED!!! I'll go to other car repair shops. With so many money I spent on my car repair, I wish Shia LeBouf would crash into my car and total it so he can buy me a new car. If you go to one repair shop for a car trouble, the mechanics say they can't find anything, then you drive away and get even worse trouble, go to another mechanic, and not the one you hired to check out what you suspected was car trouble. The shop has one chance to regain your business, but if they blow it, then go somewhere else. |
