This Economy Sucks: Make Some Cutbacks (July 9, 2008)If you can't cut back on the amount of gasoline you're using, there's still some ways for you to make some cutbacks. Here are three of them.1. Drop Your Cellphone Provider. You don't need a cell phone in your car! You don't need to carry a phone with you everywhere. Just get a landline phone, hook up an answering machine, and call the callers after you get home. Get an unlimited local calling plan and call only those who are local to your area code. It's cheaper than any cell phone. 2. Don't Go To The Movies Anymore. They're so obsolete. Cable and satellite TV was the norm of the 90s, but now Internet TV has supplanted satellite TV's limited range of choices. Get a broadband Internet plan, go to You Tube, do a search, and watch all the TV you want for free! 3. Stop Eating Out. McDonald's, Burger King, Carls Jr., Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell, Long John Silver's, and most other restauraunts are so bad for your health as well as your wallet. If you must eat out, go out and get a pizza with no cheese and all lean meat and veggie toppings. Find a restaurant that serves real sides like mashed potatoes, salads, rice, fresh fruits, and avoid fried fries. Avoid the soft drinks except for water and caffeine-free/sugar-free drinks.
