Yahoo must be cheaper than Clear Channel with that kind of service. I for one am pissed off and almost slammed my keyboard down.
Furthermore, Yahoo is not offering, instead of GeoPlus, two new premium web services such as Geocities Pro and Geocities Webmaster. I've been trying to get my website transferred to Geocities Webmaster, but the stupid friggin computer won't let me since my website davesfunstuff.com is already being hosted on Yahoo! Duh! Idiots! I e-mailed them demanding their phone numbers yesterday and so far no response. Either I get service or I'm walking. It's my way or the highway.
Does Yahoo care about their service anymore? I'm seriously thinking about doing business elsewhere. Any suggestions for web hosting other than free websites? I want a premium website with subdomains and unlimited transfer. And forget Tripod also, the pantywaists there dump your website if someone else spams your website in USENET. Serious.
Normally I save this for Monday's What's My Beef, but this lack of service is pissing me off so much that
I just can't hold it in for another day.
What's My Beef: Why No Microwaves in Supermarkets?
Why didn't anyone think of this before?
I go to Vons, Ralphs, and Albertsons, and see all those 3/$5 deals on frozen Italian food (which I breathe). I see my favorites such as chicken burritos or vegetarian tacos or potato fries and other good stuff.
The problem? How can I eat them on the road? Where's the microwave? Sure, we got 7/11, but they won't let me heat the frozen stuff I bought elsewhere in their microwave ovens, and all they have are beefy burritos I cannot eat and frozen stuff that's overpriced by a factor of two.
Microwaves in supermarkets? Why not? They can make them coin operated to pay for the electricity that runs the machines if they want, I don't care, if they want my business buying frozen meals (and I don't own a freezer, just a fridge box), they better think about making themselves more like a Wal Mart-type convieience store by putting those heating machines in.
And no, I don't own a microwave at home either. I usually eat the canned foods such as Spam and pasta cold right out of the can. Saves me $$$$ so I can get better things with the money such as music from Amazon that's too good for Clear Channel radio to air on their stations.
