What's My Beef!

What happened to phone booths or talking in your car? Those are proper places to conduct a chat fest in private, if you don't mind? I don't care to hear about what the doctor told you about your condition or what products you found in a store!

I try to window shop while thinking about an article to write here, and some idiot who's brain-dead from listening to My 94.1 or Smooth Jazz 98.1 comes in talking on the friggin' cell phone and laughing and chatting and pronouncing those annoying "S" sounds twice as loud as the speaking voice! Don't you hate those people who talk while pronouncing those "S" sounds loud and clear? You just can't think when you're hearing people who think they can imitate a bird by whistling those "S" sounds while chatting on the telephone!

WHO CARES!!!!

Here's what I'm doing to annoy those cell phone chatters. When they come in chatting on the phone, I ask the person who is on the phone. Some just smiled and walked away, others just give me the finger.

Another thing: I annoy them back by talking out loud, pointing to the products, reading aloud the contents of the products. If the phone chatter gets close talking to me, I talk BOLD and LOUD at the products and make up praises for the product (especially if it's a piece of @#%@!) and bug the phone chatter enough to make him get the hell away from me, thinking that I'm crazy or something.

One thing I wish I had: some kind of cell phone jammer. I know these are illegal, but how would the cell phone chatter like it if I had the device, turned it on, seeked out the frequencies the chatter is using, and jamming the signals so that the cell phone yakker could no longer talk on the phone.

Cell phones: Just leave them in the car and keep your private chats away from me and we'll be alright.
