Case in point: Papa John's (one of my real competetors) who keeps boasting about their idea of "better ingredients." Who are they fooling?
Just what in the world are they trying to pull on consumers? Their fat-laden pork and beef toppings are just as fatty and unhealthful as those found on their competetors. Their sauce has too much sugar and salt to suit me. Their cheese is too fatty for my arteries to handle it. As for the vegetable toppings, where's the better ones nobody's carrying including Pizza What and Dummy Nose?
I want a vegetarian pizza with, now write these down, califlower, asparigus, brussel sprouts, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and spinach. Their idea of vegetarian? Just onions, green peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, black olives, and a fruit pineapple and maybe some jalapenos that eat up my stomach. I want salt-free and sugar-free tomato sauce with real nutritious seasonings, fat-free cheese, and crust that's not full of spices, butter, cornmeal, or tastes like a cracker.
They can put a man on the moon, why can't these fast food places make food I can eat without thinking about David Letterman's quadriple bypass from last year?
