History of Daytime TV Schedules

Network Daytime Listings: ABC 1940s-54

Daytime AM (10am - 6pm Eastern, 9am - 5pm Central,
10am - 6pm Pacific through early 1974, then
9am - 5pm Pacific afterwards)
Special Pacific Time Zone schedules for ABC Shows between
1974 and 1980 will be listed. It has mostly to do with
slowly phasing in the process of moving the daytime shows
one hour earlier while moving the entire block back one hour
in mid March of 1974. Several shows remained on Eastern times
in the Pacific time zone for some time until the schedule
was phased in by the time the Love Boat debut on the daytime
schedule.
